About the Artist

Artist in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Mediums are primarily oil, some pastel and an occasional watercolor.

I accept commissions for animal portraits, home portraits, and favorite landscapes.  There is some still life in my portfolio.

I have studied with  many nationally recognized artists, such as Tony Couch, Charles Gruppe, Janet Walsh, Gene Hegge, Chuck McLachlan, Kate Worm, Maggie Siner, Bob Rohm and Stering Edwards, to name a few.  There have been plein air workshops in Venice, Italy and the United States.  I am a perennial student, always learning something new and getting exciting about my art.

I am a member and past President of the Artists League of the Sandhills, in Aberdeen, North Carolina.

My paintings are in many collections locally, in New Jersey, Virginia, South Carolina, California, and Colorado.  I exhibit frequently.  I feel lucky to have art in my life and really do like to paint.
